About the Spork
A Spork in the Road is written and maintained by yours truly, Beth Adele Long. I run Longbar Design Studio, a small but happy web design/development house. I’m also a published fiction writer with some game industry writing under my belt.
The blog’s name was inspired by my refusal to settle down and focus on one thing. One cannot help but admire the spork: instead of committing to spoonliness or forkliness, it merges both into a single utilitarian object. For better or worse, I often find myself trying to reconcile two apparently disparate qualities, both personally and professionally.
So here I stand, at the spork in the road, and unlike Frost I’ll most likely go up one road a ways before doubling back and trying out the other…
